Who we are

Ylen Solutions AB (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

What data we collect

We only collect what you actively give us and the minimum our infrastructure needs to run:

• Contact form. When you submit the form on our contact page, we receive your name, email address, optional company name, the type of request, and your message.
• Technical logs. Our hosting provider automatically processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• Theme preference. Your light/dark choice is stored locally in your browser only. It never reaches our servers.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use the information you send to reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, or give you the access you asked for. The legal basis is your consent when you submit the form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and our legitimate interest in responding to and running our business (Art. 6(1)(f)). Technical logs rest on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

Who else processes your data

We keep the number of third parties small. The ones that may process your data on our behalf are:

• Web3Forms. Delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox. Data may be processed on servers outside the EU/EEA (including the United States).
• Cloudflare. Hosts and serves this website and its content delivery.

Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. When it is no longer needed, we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected].

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) at imy.se.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
